Director Logistics, Elk Valley Resources
As Director, Logistics for Elk Valley Resources (EVR), Andy is responsible for logistics commercial strategy and planning, operational management and supply chain performance between EVR and its coal transportation and terminal service providers. Andy also represents EVR on the Board of Directors for Neptune Bulk Terminals.
Andy joined EVR in 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience across Human Resources, Labour Relations, Marketing and Logistics. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for EVR’s Global Coal Sales Book and held responsibility for front line Marketing in Asia and Europe.
About Elk Valley Resources
Elk Valley Resources is a Glencore Company, operating four mines in the Elk Valley of British Columbia, supplying high-quality steelmaking coal essential for steel production to its customers across the world. EVR operations produced 25.5 million tonnes of steelmaking coal in 2024 and rail approximately five loaded trains per day to Canada’s Westcoast, representing 15% of western rail network volumes. Steelmaking coal is primarily exported via EVR’s owned Neptune Bulk Terminals located in North Vancouver or Westshore Terminals at Roberts Bank.
